Position Overview

Spacestar Drywall LTD. is seeking a dedicated **Drywall Installer** to join our skilled team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and the ability to work in various environments.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school or equivalent experience is required.
  • Experience: Candidates should have between 1 to 7 months of relevant experience in drywall installation.
Work Environment
  • Exposure to **dusty** and **noisy** conditions.
  • Work may be conducted **outdoors**.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit tenders and quotations for projects.
  • Oversee and guide a team of 3-4 workers.
  • Apply, level, and smooth plaster coats as necessary.
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for drywall installation.
  • Finish corners and angles, creating decorative designs in the finish coat when required.
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets efficiently.
  • Spray acoustic or texture materials on walls and ceilings.
  • Install acoustic tiles, hangers for suspended ceilings, and metal studs for wallboard or lath.
  • Install both exterior and interior steel studs.
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects.
  • Work at heights using scaffolding or swing stages.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to handle **heavy loads** and perform **physically demanding** tasks.
  • Capable of working under **pressure** in a fast-paced environment.
