About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at Star Eagle Drywall Ltd. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality drywall installations for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cut and Install Metal Corner Beads: Protect exterior corners with precision and attention to detail.
  • Filling and Smoothing: Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Drywall Sheet Installation: Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Wall and Ceiling Layouts: Prepare wall and ceiling layouts to ensure seamless drywall installation.
  • Work at Heights: Work safely at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages.
Work Environment

As a Drywall Installation Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced commercial and residential drywall installation environment. You will be exposed to dusty and noisy conditions, but you will be rewarded with a sense of accomplishment and pride in your work.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in drywall installation.
  • Physical Demands: Bending, crouching, kneeling, hand-eye coordination, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, and standing for extended periods.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, judgement, reliability, and team player.
