About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at BAJ Drywall Ltd. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Lead a Team

As a Drywall Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for supervising and leading a team of workers to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Apply and Finish Drywall Coats

You will be responsible for applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster to ensure a smooth and even finish.

Clean and Prepare Surfaces

You will be responsible for cleaning and preparing surfaces to ensure that they are ready for drywall installation.

Cure and Finish Drywall Surfaces

You will be responsible for curing freshly plastered surfaces and finishing drywall surfaces to a high standard.

Install Drywall Sheets

You will be responsible for measuring, cutting, fitting, and installing drywall sheets to ensure a secure and even fit.

Mix and Apply Plaster

You will be responsible for mixing plaster ingredients to the desired consistency and applying them to drywall surfaces.

Work at Heights

You will be required to work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to install drywall sheets and finish drywall surfaces.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in drywall installation and finishing

Language

English

Work Hours

40 hours per week
