About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at Star Eagle Drywall Ltd. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install drywall sheets in commercial and residential settings, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Cut and fit metal corner beads to protect exterior corners, maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound, using a trowel and broad knife to achieve a seamless finish.
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets, positioning and securing them to metal or wooden studs or joists.
  • Prepare wall and ceiling layouts, working at heights on scaffolding or swing stages as required.
Work Environment

As a Drywall Installation Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment, exposed to dust and noise. You will be required to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in drywall installation.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
