Position Overview

Join our team at New Best Care Medical Clinic as a dedicated Medical Secretary. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic and providing exceptional support to our healthcare professionals.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university certificate or diploma program lasting between 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent qualifications.
  • Asset Languages: Proficiency in Hindi is considered an asset.
Work Environment
  • Setting: Primarily within a clinical environment.
  • Relocation: Candidates must be willing to relocate, as relocation costs are not covered by the employer.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient interviews to gather comprehensive case histories.
  • Manage scheduling and confirmation of patient appointments.
  • Complete and process insurance claims and other necessary documentation.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for patient records.
  • Input and format medical reports and correspondence electronically, preparing documents for review.
  • Establish and uphold confidential medical files and records.
