Position Overview
This role requires a commitment to excellence and a passion for patient care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various administrative tasks that ensure smooth operations within the clinic.


Key Responsibilities
  • Welcoming patients and managing the intake process.
  • Handling incoming calls and directing them appropriately.
  • Coordinating appointments, including scheduling and rescheduling as necessary.
  • Registering new patients and maintaining accurate records.
  • Preparing patient charts and updating demographic information in our systems.
  • Organizing and maintaining patient files through filing and scanning.
  • Monitoring office supplies and ensuring inventory is well-stocked.
  • Regularly updating and verifying patient information for accuracy.

Essential Knowledge
  • Understanding of the healthcare sector and relevant medical specialties.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology.
  • Proficient in grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Experience in an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Required Skills
  • Outstanding customer service skills and professional phone manner.
  • Ability to maintain organized systems for efficient patient flow.
  • Familiarity with Oscar EMR is advantageous.
  • Strong multitasking abilities.

Educational Background
  • Experience in the medical field.
  • Certification as a medical assistant is preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification is a plus.
  • Training in EMR systems.
