About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Technical Consultant, Benefits Specialist to join our growing HRdirect Service Center team at Intact Financial Corporation.

This newly created role will serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers seeking information on Intact's Group Benefits. The successful candidate will analyze and resolve complex benefit-related inquiries, collaborating with internal teams and third-party service providers to ensure client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and resolve benefit-related inquiries from employees and managers, utilizing best practices and our knowledge base.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party service providers to resolve complex issues and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Log all calls and document the steps leading to resolution.
  • Participate in maintaining the benefits portion of our knowledge base.
  • Collaborate with various teams to find suitable solutions for benefit-related questions.
  • Ensure consistent and accurate responses, recommending improvements as needed.
  • Participate in ad-hoc team projects as required.

Requirements

  • Education in human resources, administration, or a related field.
  • Strong client/customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrates initiative, good judgment, and autonomy.
  • Capacity to adapt rapidly in an ever-changing environment.
  • Good understanding of Workday - an asset.
  • Experience in benefits management - an asset.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Known for teamwork and collaboration.
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingualism in French and English required - necessary for regular interaction with colleagues across the country.
  • Positive attitude, autonomy, and strong sense of ethics.
