About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Shift Manager to join our team at The Sequence Pizza. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
    • Train new staff members in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
    • Hire and manage a team of 3-4 staff members.
  • Quality Control and Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet our high quality control standards.
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare and submit reports as required.
  • Operational Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient use of resources.
    • Prepare and submit reports on operational performance.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
Work Environment

The Shift Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong organizational and time management skills. The role will involve a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with standing for extended periods.
