Maintenance Worker, Building

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Worker, Building to join our team at Super 8 by Wyndham. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's maintenance and repair functions.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing hallways, floors, and stairs. Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and other refuse.
- Housekeeping: Empty trash cans and other waste containers, wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
- Technical Support: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems. Contact tradespersons for major repairs.
- Customer Service: Show apartments and offices to prospective tenants, balance rent roll, and contact contractors for repairs and maintenance.
- Teamwork: Supervise other workers, move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, and perform other routine maintenance jobs.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Work Environment: Hotel, motel, resort.
