Become a vital part of our team as the Community Wellness Coordinator
If you are enthusiastic about fostering community involvement and promoting an active lifestyle, this role is tailored for you. As the Community Wellness Coordinator, your primary duties will include designing engaging programs, recruiting skilled instructors, and managing volunteers to facilitate meaningful workshops that encourage a healthy lifestyle within our community's recreational initiatives.
We seek a candidate who fulfills the following criteria:
- Post-secondary education in recreation, sports management, education, or physical education/kinesiology
- A minimum of one year of experience in coordinating recreational activities
- Possession of a valid BC Driver's Licence - Class 5
Before a formal job offer is made, selected candidates will be required to complete a police information check. Our extensive benefits package enhances the value of this position.
Essential Information:
- Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:00 pm (summer), 8:30 am-4:30 pm (winter)
- Weekly Hours: 35
- Hourly Compensation: $40.247
