MaryJane's is a dynamic retail business seeking a highly skilled Store Manager to lead our team.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a results-driven Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail store. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing staff, driving sales growth, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Management
- Recruit, hire, and train a team of sales associates and management staff
- Develop and implement effective staff scheduling and workflow processes
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback
- Store Operations
- Oversee the daily operations of the store, including sales floor management, visual merchandising, and inventory control
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and increase customer engagement
- Manage store budgets and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Customer Service
- Ensure exceptional customer service and a positive shopping experience
- Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Marketing and Promotion
- Develop and implement effective marketing and promotional strategies to drive sales and increase brand awareness
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging in-store promotions and events
- Inventory Management
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce inventory shrinkage and improve stockroom efficiency
- Store Maintenance
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the store, including repairs and renovations
- Ensure the store is clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times
- Education
- College or CEGEP diploma
- Experience
- 1-2 years of retail management experience
- Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail management software
