Role Summary:

The Branch Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in managing daily customer interactions, overseeing lubricant and wet stock inventory, and facilitating inside sales. This position is designed to support our operations during peak seasons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the office team with customer service tasks, including inbound and outbound call management, front counter service, order processing, and payment collection.
  • Conduct follow-ups on inside sales, maintain customer accounts, and provide project assistance.
  • Manage lubricant warehouse inventory, ensuring proper maintenance and sales processes.
  • Prepare and report on month-end and year-end inventory activities.
  • Conduct health, safety, and environmental compliance inspections and manage associated action items.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in computer applications.
  • Experience or aptitude in mechanical tasks, particularly in the petroleum and propane sectors, is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to diverse roles and business needs.
  • Availability for occasional weekend shifts.
  • Possession of a clean driving record.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently when necessary.
  • Understanding of safe work practices and health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Knowledge of WHMIS and TDG is an asset.
