POSITION SUMMARY:
Step into an engaging role as a Part-time Supply Chain Associate, where each day presents a fresh chance to delve into the realm of supply chain management.
Your responsibilities will encompass inventory oversight while significantly contributing to business-to-business functions through effective procurement, sourcing, and pricing strategies that align with customer demands and enhance operational success.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The essential duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
o Overseeing inventory levels at the branch
o Managing procurement tasks, including purchase orders and backorder processing
o Estimating and quoting product prices, as well as sourcing items
o Coordinating resources to address customer supply chain requirements
o Assisting with accounts receivable processes
o Delivering products using a company vehicle when necessary
o Performing additional tasks as required to ensure branch effectiveness
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
The following qualifications are necessary for this position:
o Minimum age of 18 years due to job responsibilities
o Valid driver's license issued in the country of employment, meeting driving record standards for company vehicle use
o Enrollment in or completion of a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Marketing, Sales, or a related field, or relevant customer service experience
o Strong written and verbal communication skills
o Proficient in computer applications
o Highly driven, self-motivated, and focused on customer service
o Strong mathematical skills, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency
o Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
o Capable of problem-solving, deductive reasoning, and making informed decisions
o Embody core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork
o Ability to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages weighing between 25lbs-50lbs, with potential weights up to 75lbs
o Successful completion of a required drug screening (applicable in certain regions)
