Position Overview

The Aftersales Manager at Next Level Group plays a pivotal role in steering the Service and Parts Department under the guidance of the Branch Manager. This position is essential for achieving the organization's objectives, focusing on enhancing productivity, ensuring customer loyalty, facilitating employee development, and maintaining exceptional service quality.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will engage with both the service and parts divisions.

Service Department Duties:

  • Manage the daily functions of the service department.
  • Act as the primary contact for clients regarding service inquiries, providing estimates and resolving concerns.
  • Prioritize and delegate work orders to technicians effectively.
  • Assist the service clerk with the invoicing process.
  • Play a significant role in the collection of outstanding service invoices.
  • Supervise staff while ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Recruit and train new personnel appropriately.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture to enhance employee retention.
  • Deliver constructive feedback to team members regarding their performance.

Parts Department Duties:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the parts department.
  • Ensure adequate staffing and manage scheduling effectively.
  • Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to address aging stock.
  • Lead the execution of quarterly promotional programs with the Parts team.
  • Devise solutions for urgent machine downtime scenarios where parts are unavailable.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong expertise in service management with the capability to lead and organize a service team while overseeing daily branch operations.
  • Proficient in computer applications and Microsoft software.
  • Sound knowledge of equipment and mechanics is advantageous.
  • Ability to adapt to an environment with shifting priorities.
  • Willingness to work over 40 hours per week and be available for occasional evening and weekend contact.
  • Readiness to travel as required.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
