About the Role:

The Branch Representative is a key member of our team at Parkland Corporation, responsible for supporting day-to-day branch customer-facing operations, lubricant and wet stock inventory management, and inside sales. This role is a seasonal position, supporting our business from fall to winter, with a term ending in March 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the office team with customer-facing responsibilities, including call handling, front counter customer service, order taking, and account payments.
  • Conduct inside sales follow-up, account maintenance, and project support.
  • Assist with lubricant warehouse inventory management, maintenance, and sales.
  • Perform month-end and year-end inventory preparation and reporting.
  • Ensure all facilities meet health, safety, and environmental (HSE) and compliance standards, conducting inspections, maintenance, and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in computer applications.
  • Mechanical aptitude and/or work experience in the petroleum and propane industry is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide customer-facing services.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the business and willingness to work in a diversified role.
  • Clean driver's abstract.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Good understanding of safe work practices and HSE requirements.
  • Knowledge of WHIMIS and TDG is preferred.
