The Next Level Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales and Service Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to our Service and Parts Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service Department:
- Oversee the daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services to our customers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing estimates and addressing their concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Prioritize and assign work orders to technicians, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
- Oversee and assist the service clerk in the invoicing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Play an active role in the recovery of accounts receivable related to service invoices.
- Supervise staff and maintain a safe and productive work environment.
- Hire and train staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Provide regular feedback and coaching to employees, helping them to improve their performance and achieve their goals.
- Parts Department:
- Oversee the daily operations of the parts department, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Ensure proper staffing and coordinate scheduling to meet the needs of our customers.
- Monitor parts inventory levels and implement solutions to move aging inventory, reducing waste and improving profitability.
- Lead the deployment of quarterly specials program with the Parts team, driving sales and revenue growth.
- Work with the team to find solutions for machine down situations where parts are not readily available.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of related work experience, preferably in a service or sales role.
- Strong background in service and the ability to lead and organize a service team.
- Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft software.
- Sound equipment and mechanical knowledge is an asset.
- Ability to work in an environment of changing priorities.
- Ability to work 40+ hours per week, with occasional evening and weekend work.
- Ability and willingness to travel.
- Valid driver's license.
