**Job Summary**

The Government of Northwest Territories seeks a highly skilled and experienced Senior Administrative Coordinator to provide senior corporate level operational leadership and support services within the Legislative Assembly.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide guidance and support to Deputy Clerks responsible for hiring, training, managing, and supervising administrative professional staff.
  • Offer corporate leadership support to the Executive Management Committee (ECM).
  • Act as the first point of contact for the Clerk's Office, providing executive administrative services with tact and diplomacy in a cross-cultural, highly sensitive, and political environment.
  • Apply impeccable judgment, demonstrate the highest levels of integrity, discretion, and professionalism, superior organizational awareness, exceptional attention to detail, quality, and efficiency to support the work of the Clerk and Deputy Clerks.
  • Provide objective analysis and broad advice on services relating to the administrative management of the individual department and Government of the Northwest Territories.

**Requirements:**

  • Certificate in Professional Administration
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience in an administrative role supporting senior executives
  • Experience with the development and maintenance of Mail tracking systems
