Internal Audit Project Coordinator

Position Overview
The Internal Audit Coordinator is a pivotal role within the Internal Audit Bureau (IAB), reporting directly to the Director of Internal Audit. This position is essential for ensuring the seamless operation of the IAB by providing comprehensive support to internal auditors in various capacities including project management, administrative tasks, and reporting functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination of annual planning activities for the IAB.
- Provide administrative support to collect and organize project-related information.
- Facilitate communication both internally within the IAB and externally with relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain and update administrative procedures and internal auditing manuals.
- Ensure proper management of audit and administrative files to support assurance, advisory, and investigative services in line with professional standards.
The coordinator will collaborate closely with seasoned internal auditors, focusing on specific programs or business processes across various departments such as Administration, Finance, Human Resources, Procurement, or Technology. The outputs generated by the coordinator will undergo peer review as part of the internal auditing process and will contribute to the audit reports presented to senior management.
Data Management Support
This role will also involve supporting IAB Data Management by gathering and analyzing data pertinent to the audit process, ensuring that all data is accurate, relevant, and handled with the utmost confidentiality and security.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related discipline.
Additional Requirements
Candidates should be eligible for membership in The Institute of Internal Auditing and have completed its Internal Audit Practitioner program.
