At CB Canada, we are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual HR Administrator to join our team. As an HR Administrator, you will play a critical role in supporting the HR team in various administrative tasks, including recruitment, employee onboarding, and HR system management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment and Onboarding:
    • Coordinate and facilitate the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling.
    • Prepare and maintain employment contracts, coordinate the signing process, and manage new hire documentation.
    • Coordinate and facilitate employee onboarding, including orientation sessions and benefits training programs.
  • HR System Administration:
    • Maintain all employment, student, and contractor files.
    • Input and maintain employee information in the HRIS.
    • Provide HRIS reports as required, with analysis of data and trends.
    • Update all HR content on the SharePoint site.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Prepare employment verification letters.
    • Support employee engagement and employee recognition programs.
    • Collaborate with the HR leaders as needed.
  • Compensation:
    • Prepare employee correspondence relating to all employment life cycle changes, including transfers, promotions, increases, reporting changes, and bonus and merit statement letters.
    • Process system and payroll updates for staff salary increases; liaise with payroll administrator to ensure all payroll data is submitted on time and accurately.
    • Prepare memos for staff vacation entitlements, years of service letters, and awards.
  • HR Communications:
    • Own the HR mailbox.
    • Draft town hall presentations and HR communications.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience:
    • Completed or working towards a diploma in Human Resources.
    • 1 year or less experience supporting Human Resources, working directly with hiring managers and helping employees across the organization.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Fully bilingual in French and English with exceptional written and verbal skills.
  • Knowledge:
    • Understanding of applicable employment legislation in the various provinces in which we operate.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Hands-on experience using a Human Resources Information System.
    • Proficient with MS Office Suite, including SharePoint.
  • Accountability and Collaboration:
    • Take ownership of your work and its impact on the organization.
    • Exceptional decision-making skills, guided by your business acumen and analytical approach.
  • Influence and Interpersonal Skills:
    • Outstanding professional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
    • Build productive relationships across the organization, contributing to a positive remote and in-office workplace culture.
