The Post-Secondary Employers' Association (PSEA) is a leading organization in the public sector, dedicated to supporting employers in setting bargaining mandates and providing autonomy. The Public Sector Employers' Council (PSEC) and Secretariat develop and implement human resource and labour relations policies and practices across the public sector.

Position Overview

The Director, Labour Relations serves as the primary point of contact for PSEA's member institutions, supporting collective bargaining by leading negotiations, mediations, and arbitrations. This role requires expertise in contract administration, research, and costing principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead negotiations, mediations, and arbitrations with labour unions
  • Develop and implement labour relations strategies and policies
  • Provide expert advice on contract interpretation and labour relations matters
  • Collaborate with other PSEA staff to achieve organizational goals
Qualifications

The ideal candidate is an experienced labour relations professional with a strong background in collective bargaining and contract administration. A Certified Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation is preferred.
