About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources professional to join our team at Newcrest Mining Limited. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and guidance on all aspects of Human Resources, including talent management, employee engagement, and organizational development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's business objectives
  • Lead and manage the HR team to ensure effective delivery of HR services
  • Provide guidance and support to managers on HR-related matters
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement organizational change initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
Requirements
  • Post-graduate degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Chartered Professional of Human Resources designation (CPHR) is considered an asset
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Human Resources
  • Experience in mining and understanding of Project Management is an asset
  • Demonstrates people leadership skills
  • Solid understanding of HR and Labour Relations practices
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and HR software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
