LizardCreek Lodge Guest Service Attendant Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Service Attendant to join our team at Fernie Alpine Resort. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring a comfortable and friendly atmosphere for our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional guest service and support to ensure a memorable experience
  • Assist and upsell guests to enhance their stay
  • Process hotel reservations and maintain accurate booking policies
  • Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently
  • Answer phones and transfer calls in a professional manner
  • Coordinate room status updates with housekeeping to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Process payment transactions and balance end-of-day systems accurately
  • Check daily record sheets and guest accounts to ensure accuracy
  • Manage mail and message coordination, postage, and shipping/receiving
  • Adhere to hotel policies, guidelines, and safety protocols
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including hotel management systems
  • Experience in handling cash transactions and maintaining accurate records
  • Previous similar role experience preferred, but not required
