About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at FERNIE STANFORD HOTEL & RESORT. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration and Check-in/Check-out: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and process departures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Complaint Resolution: Investigate and resolve guest complaints and claims in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Room Reservations and Management: Take, cancel, and change room reservations, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Hotel Information and Services: Provide guests with information on hotel facilities, services, and amenities, promoting a positive experience.
  • Payment and Billing: Process guest payments, calculate charges, and ensure accurate billing.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Answer telephones, relay messages, and provide exceptional customer service to guests and internal stakeholders.
  • Special Needs Assistance: Assist guests with special needs, ensuring their requirements are met and their stay is comfortable.
  • Work Environment and Hours: Work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency, with a typical workweek of 30-40 hours.
Requirements
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
