Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team at the Fernie Stanford Hotel & Resort. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling guest inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and resolve guest complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
  • Process guest departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff.
  • Assist guests with special needs and provide additional support as required.
  • Provide information on hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or front desk role an asset.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Fluency in English required.
