Your Role: Health & Safety Graduate

As a member of the Canada Building Materials Safety Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment across all our operations. This graduate program offers hands-on experience and valuable training to develop your skills in health and safety management.

Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of safety policies and programs.
  • Conduct workplace inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collect and analyze safety data, including incident reports and near misses, to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Assist with the preparation of safety training materials and conduct safety awareness sessions for employees.
  • Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to promote a culture of safety excellence.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of relevant health and safety legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
