About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Health and Safety Professional to join our team at Canada Building Materials. As a Safety Coordinator Graduate Program, you will play a key role in supporting our safety process across all business units, including Cement, Aggregates, and Ready-Mix.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety Administration: Collect and record injury/accident data, update OSHA 300 Logs, and assist with WSIB reporting.
  • Policy and Program Development: Create and distribute safety materials, conduct workplace inspections, and identify hazards.
  • Special Projects: Assist with various short-term projects and contribute to our overall safety performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma from a Technical school or University.
  • One to two years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Legislation.
  • Highly motivated and passionate about safety excellence.
  • Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
