WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

Oversee product quality while promoting our offerings, enhancing concrete knowledge, and representing the company image to clients. Engage with, serve, and cultivate relationships with customers. Drive continuous improvement and uphold our Quality System through personal involvement in the following responsibilities.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Monitor project timelines and site activities, conducting quality control testing.
  • Perform ongoing CSA & ASTM assessments of concrete and raw materials.
  • Document test results, utilizing statistical quality control methods.
  • Analyze data, prepare reports, and create visual representations to validate or highlight deviations from established standards.
  • Participate in pre-pour discussions and communicate with clients to promote value-added products, gathering market and project insights.
  • Suggest enhancements to existing quality or production standards and procedures.
  • Educate operational staff on CSA testing protocols and product quality.
  • Advise management on issues arising from product concerns identified through technical support interactions with clients.
  • Engage in complaint investigations, identify potential causes, conduct further testing, propose solutions, and collaborate with sales to address customer issues.
  • Conduct quality control audits and implement ongoing enhancements to the Quality System, including BNQ.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

  • A minimum of two years in a civil, construction, or geotechnical technician program, coupled with at least two years of field experience in construction, or five years of relevant field experience.
  • Strong people management, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Basic proficiency in computer software (Windows, Word, Excel).
  • Capability to effectively present information to clients, customers, and colleagues.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • A valid driver's license in good standing.
