WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

As a Senior Lab Technician, you will conduct comprehensive chemical and physical tests on solid materials and liquids, analyzing data to ensure quality and compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Set up and calibrate laboratory equipment necessary for various tests and research.
  • Evaluate and analyze materials such as concrete and aggregates to meet specified standards.
  • Document and report findings from tests and analyses accurately.
  • Prepare chemical solutions according to established protocols.
  • Maintain the laboratory facilities to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Optimize the use of materials and equipment for maximum efficiency.
  • Conduct statistical analyses to assess material quality and performance.
  • Manage documentation and records related to laboratory activities.
  • Effectively handle multiple projects while adhering to deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A diploma or degree in Civil, Chemical, or Materials Engineering is preferred. Strong communication skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in computer applications (Windows, Word, Excel) is required. A valid Driver's License is necessary.
  • Familiarity with testing methods such as IR, TGA, XRD, and Isothermal Calorimetry is advantageous but not mandatory.
