Job Summary

Industrial Machine Tool Service Ltd. is seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, taping joints, and applying successive coats of compound to ensure a smooth finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Finishing: Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets, and apply successive coats of compound to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Taping and Jointing: Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound to create a seamless finish.
  • Surface Preparation: Clean and prepare surfaces for drywall installation, including cutting and installing metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for drywall installation projects.
  • Worksite Safety: Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, and erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in drywall installation or a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding work, including standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and working in a dusty and noisy environment.
  • Work Environment: Commercial, residential, and various locations, including working in employer's/client's home.
Working Conditions
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with overtime required as needed.
