About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Duct Installation Specialist to join our team at Reads Heating Edmonton. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient installation of heating systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Layout: Determine the optimal layout and installation procedures for heating systems, taking into account customer requirements and site-specific conditions.
  • Pre-Installation Preparation: Measure and mark guidelines for installations, prepare and maintain work materials and supplies, and load and unload trucks with equipment and materials.
  • Tool Operation and Safety: Utilize hand and power tools, erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms, and read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in physically demanding environments, with attention to detail, handling heavy loads, and working overtime as required.
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate punctuality, accuracy, client focus, dependability, flexibility, organization, reliability, and teamwork.
  • Experience and Training: Leverage experience as an asset, and participate in diversity and cross-cultural training, awareness training for youth, and cultural competency training for Indigenous workers.
