About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at Industrial Machine Tool Service Ltd. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install drywall sheets in commercial and residential settings, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a high-quality finish.
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for installation, including cutting and fitting drywall sheets to meet specific requirements.
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms to ensure safe access to work areas.
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to install drywall sheets and complete tasks.
  • Estimate costs and materials for drywall installation projects, ensuring accurate and efficient use of resources.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to complete projects on time and to a high standard.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in drywall installation, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work at heights, in dusty and noisy environments.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and ability to work accurately.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Working Conditions
  • Commercial and residential settings.
  • Various locations, including clients' homes.
  • Work in a team environment with 3-4 colleagues.
  • Physically demanding work, requiring standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads.
Language and Work Environment
  • English language proficiency.
