Position Overview

This role reports directly to the Housing Front Office Supervisor and plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of the University's Housing department. You will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks, including room assignments, data management, reporting, and financial handling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with various university departments to ensure seamless operations within the Housing office.
  • Manage room offers and assignments, ensuring accurate records and efficient allocation of student housing.
  • Maintain comprehensive data entry and generate statistical reports for analysis and decision-making.
  • Handle cash transactions with accuracy and accountability.

Software Management & Support

As a key point of contact, you will oversee the management of software systems and online services utilized by both Housing and Conference and Event Services. This involves collaborating with IT specialists, internal staff, and off-campus administrators to ensure smooth functionality and address any technical issues.

Student Focus & Teamwork

This position is highly student-focused, requiring a professional demeanor and exceptional customer service skills when interacting with students and the public. You will work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment to provide support to nearly 1000 on-campus students.

Qualifications

  • College Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven ability to maintain a professional attitude and deliver high-quality customer service.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including expertise in BANNER, MS Office Suite, STAR REZ, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to exercise independent judgment.
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to building effective working relationships.
