Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dairy Queen. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including training and development.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Food Preparation and Quality Control
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation.
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Prepare food order summaries for the chef.
  • Customer Service and Relations
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Administrative and Financial Tasks
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates.
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Staff Management and Development
    • Hire and train food service staff.
    • Develop and implement staff training programs.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language and Communication
    • Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment
    • 35 hours per week.
