Position Overview

The role of a Kitchen Helper at Dairy Queen involves supporting the culinary team in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment. This position is essential for ensuring that food preparation and service run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sanitation: Ensure cleanliness by clearing and sanitizing tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Food Preparation: Assist in loading buspans and trays, preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items.
  • Storage Management: Organize and place dishes in designated storage areas.
  • Supply Maintenance: Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
  • Equipment Care: Clean and sanitize kitchen appliances and equipment, including pots and pans.
  • Waste Management: Properly remove kitchen garbage and trash.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records of food quantities used.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables and take their orders.
  • Knife Maintenance: Sharpen kitchen knives as needed.
Qualifications

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience: Candidates should have between 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
