About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dairy Queen. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective operational procedures to ensure seamless day-to-day operations, including managing inventory, scheduling staff, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Lead and Motivate a Team

Supervise and train a team of food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

Oversee the ordering and inventory management of food, beverages, and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.

Ensure Quality and Safety Standards

Implement and maintain high standards of quality and safety, ensuring that our food products and services meet the highest standards of excellence.

Manage Customer Service

Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.

Prepare Budgets and Reports

Prepare and manage budgets, reports, and other administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the food service department.

Requirements
  • Education

College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.

Experience

1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service supervisory role.

Language

English.
