About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dairy Queen. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective operational procedures to ensure the smooth running of our food service department, including managing inventory, scheduling staff, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Supervise and Train Staff

Supervise and train a team of food service staff, including cooks, servers, and cashiers, to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to provide excellent customer service and prepare high-quality food products.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

Manage inventory and supplies, including ordering and receiving stock, to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to meet customer demand.

Ensure Quality Control

Ensure that all food products meet our high standards of quality and safety, and that our customers receive exceptional service.

Prepare Budgets and Reports

Prepare budgets and reports to track sales, inventory, and labor costs, and to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements
  • Education

College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.

Experience

1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service supervisory role.

Skills

Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.

Knowledge

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, as well as inventory management and control.
