Purchasing Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team at Shabad Transport Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning and controlling our budget and expenditures, as well as overseeing the evaluation of the cost and quality of goods or services.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and Control Budget and Expenditures: Develop and implement effective budgeting strategies to ensure optimal resource allocation and minimize costs.
- Procurement and Sourcing: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage the procurement process to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Contract Management: Oversee the development, implementation, and administration of contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Quality Assurance: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality of goods and services meets company standards.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, budget performance, and other key metrics to senior management.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, with a proven track record of success in budget planning and control, procurement, and contract management.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
