Purchasing Operations Manager

Shabad Transport Inc. is seeking a skilled Purchasing Manager to oversee our procurement operations. This role is essential in ensuring that our purchasing strategies align with our organizational goals.
Qualifications- Education: Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience: 2 to 3 years in a similar role.
The position is based in an urban setting and involves managing a budget ranging from $1,500,001 to $4,000,000.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective purchasing policies and procedures.
- Evaluate the cost and quality of goods and services.
- Authorize product or service specifications.
- Manage supplier contracts and review claims against suppliers.
- Analyze data and prepare detailed reports for senior management.
- Coordinate and oversee multiple projects and programs.
- Direct daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
This position involves supervising a team of 16-20 employees.
Technical SkillsProficiency in MS Office, MS Outlook, and MS Word is required.
Work ConditionsThe role is set in a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Personal AttributesThe ideal candidate will demonstrate dependability, flexibility, and strong organizational skills. A team player with good judgment and initiative is essential.
