About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Sirius Auto Parts Corp. As a key member of our purchasing department, you will be responsible for managing our supply chain and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement and Sourcing
    • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives
    • Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible prices and terms
    • Manage and maintain relationships with existing suppliers
  • Contract Management
    • Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Inventory Management
    • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels
    • Identify and implement opportunities to reduce inventory costs
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Provide regular reports on procurement activities and spend analysis
    • Identify trends and opportunities for cost savings
Requirements
  • Education
    • College or CEGEP diploma in a related field (e.g. business, supply chain management)
  • Experience
    • 1-2 years of experience in procurement or a related field
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software
