We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Manager to join our team at S & B Modi Enterprises ltd. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for planning and controlling budget and expenditures, as well as overseeing the evaluation of the cost and quality of goods or services.
Key Responsibilities- Procurement Planning: Develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective procurement processes.
- Supplier Management: Evaluate and select suppliers based on their ability to meet our quality and cost requirements.
- Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure compliance with our purchasing policies.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the organization and maintenance of inventory to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, including cost savings and supplier performance.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail, with a focus on meeting tight deadlines.
