Position Overview

The role of a Bookkeeper is crucial in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization. This position involves meticulous record-keeping and accounting tasks that support our operational efficiency.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a secondary (high) school graduation certificate is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare payroll cheques.
  • Assess fixed assets and their depreciation.
  • Maintain comprehensive financial records, balancing various accounts through both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Oversee general ledgers and prepare financial statements.
  • Generate additional statistical, financial, and accounting reports as required.
  • Compile trial balances of the books.
Technical Proficiency
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Windows, and MS Office.
Work Environment
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail is essential.

Experience
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
