We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team at Jiya Trucking Ltd. O/A Jiya Trucking. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts

Requirements

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
  • Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
