Project Financial Specialist

Melloy Industrial Services Inc is seeking a meticulous Project Financial Specialist to become a vital part of our finance team. In this role, you will oversee all monetary activities associated with various projects, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and relevant regulations. Candidates should possess a degree or diploma in a pertinent field along with 1 to 2 years of experience in project management and financial oversight.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate project-related financial transactions and manage internal payroll cost distributions.
  • Examine and interpret financial data and reports.
  • Generate customized reports and analyses for the project management team.
  • Support year-end processes and both internal and external financial disclosures.
  • Handle client invoicing, bank transactions, and cash flow reconciliations.
  • Recognize and report on compliance and project-related risks.
  • Compile necessary documentation for audit processes.
Required Qualifications
  • Postsecondary education in a relevant discipline.
  • 1-2 years of experience in project management and financial accounting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of complete accounting processes.
  • Intermediate proficiency in project budgeting and forecasting.
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
  • Capability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities.

Candidates must be prepared to undergo a pre-access alcohol and drug screening and should be open to traveling to various job sites as necessary.
