Executive Sous Chef

At Romers Burger Bar - Port Moody, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory. You will analyze operating costs and other data to optimize our menu and ensure we're meeting our quality standards. Your expertise will be essential in demonstrating new cooking techniques and equipment to our cooking staff, instructing them in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food. You will also supervise cooks and other kitchen staff, preparing and cooking food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions. Additionally, you will be responsible for requisitioning food and kitchen supplies, arranging for equipment purchases and repairs, and planning menus. The ideal candidate will have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role and a secondary (high) school graduation certificate. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English. The hours of work are 35 hours per week.
