Job Summary

Michael Page International Canada Limited is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Project Coordinator to join our team in Ottawa. As a Construction Project Coordinator, you will assist and support the Project Manager/Construction Manager on various projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all activities for primarily ICI new build and renovation projects, ensuring compliance with the Health and Safety Program and Policy and Procedures Manual.
  • Assist the project team in adhering to timelines and deliverables, utilizing project management software to complete all project administration.
  • Manage day-to-day activities for the Project Management team, including understanding contract documents and ensuring project deliverables are met.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the project team.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree (Civil/Construction/Architectural) or technical college diploma in Construction Management or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of construction experience, preferably with on-site project coordination experience.
  • Experience working on ICI and light industrial/retail type projects would be ideal.
