We are currently in search of a highly qualified Senior Finance Manager, Corporate Reporting to enhance our dynamic finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting: Direct the preparation and examination of financial statements and associated disclosures, ensuring adherence to accounting standards. Deliver precise and timely financial reports to facilitate informed decision-making by senior management and external stakeholders. Month-End Closing: Oversee the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures, coordinating efforts across various departments to ensure timely completion and accurate financial results. Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial schedules to identify and rectify discrepancies. Audit Coordination: Act as a primary contact for external auditors during financial statement audits and reviews. Prepare audit documentation, address auditor inquiries, and ensure prompt resolution of audit findings. Tax Compliance: Guarantee compliance with sales tax regulations by maintaining precise records, reconciling sales tax accounts, and timely preparation and submission of sales tax returns. Collaborate with the corporate tax team to support compliance and reporting obligations. Process Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities to enhance accounting processes, improve efficiency, and strengthen internal controls. Adopt best practices and automation solutions to optimize the corporate reporting function and support organizational growth objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and streamline reporting processes, as well as to gather pertinent data and insights for financial analysis. Prepare ad-hoc reports, analyses, and additional duties as assigned to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

CPA, CA, or equivalent professional designation required. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. 7+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, with a focus on corporate reporting in a large organization. Strong knowledge of financial principles and accounting standards, particularly IFRS 16. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines while maintaining high accuracy and accountability. Exceptional attention to detail to ensure the integrity of financial data. Strong sense of ownership to meet commitments and deadlines. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently. Demonstrated leadership experience and the capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and data manipulation). Experience with Sage/Accpac and Vena is preferred.
