We are currently in search of a seasoned Senior Finance Manager, Corporate Reporting to enhance our dynamic finance department.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting Oversight: Direct the preparation and evaluation of financial statements and pertinent disclosures, ensuring adherence to accounting standards. Deliver precise and timely financial reports to facilitate informed decision-making by senior leadership and external stakeholders. Month-End Closing: Oversee the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures, coordinating efforts across various departments to meet deadlines and ensure accurate financial reporting. Scrutinize journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial schedules to detect and rectify discrepancies. Audit Coordination: Act as a primary contact for external auditors during financial audits and reviews. Prepare necessary audit documentation, address auditor inquiries, and ensure prompt resolution of audit issues. Tax Compliance Management: Guarantee compliance with sales tax regulations by maintaining accurate records, reconciling accounts, and timely preparation and submission of sales tax returns. Collaborate with the corporate tax team to support tax compliance and reporting obligations. Process Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities to enhance accounting processes, improve efficiency, and reinforce internal controls. Introduce best practices and automation strategies to optimize the corporate reporting function and support organizational growth objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and streamline reporting processes, while gathering relevant data for financial analysis. Generate ad-hoc reports and analyses as required to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

CPA, CA, or equivalent professional designation is mandatory. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, specifically focusing on corporate reporting within a large organization. In-depth knowledge of financial principles and accounting standards, particularly IFRS 16. Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities while maintaining high accuracy and accountability. Exceptional attention to detail to uphold the integrity of financial data. Strong sense of ownership and commitment to meeting deadlines. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment as well as independently. Demonstrated leadership experience with the capacity to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of presenting complex financial information clearly and concisely. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and data manipulation). Familiarity with Sage/Accpac and Vena is preferred.
