SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER – ELECTRIC MOTORS/CONTROLS

Position Overview

As a Senior Account Manager, you will be a highly organized professional with exceptional customer service capabilities. Your role will involve cultivating productive, professional relationships while effectively managing your client portfolio. You will be innovative and proactive, consistently seeking new strategies to surpass your designated sales objectives.

Your meticulous attention to detail and ability to anticipate both client and business needs will set you apart. You will embrace the challenge of expanding your existing client base and explore creative solutions to achieve your targets.

Required Skills:

  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in an Engineering discipline and/or a minimum of 5 years of experience in a strategic sales role is preferred.
  • Experience in Electric Motors and Industrial Sales is advantageous.
  • A client-focused, motivated team player with a strong drive for success.
  • Outstanding presentation skills for effective client communication.
  • Proficient in client negotiation and relationship management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Robust interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including MS Dynamics CRM.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada without sponsorship is required.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain productive, professional relationships with clients to achieve sales targets.
  • Your sales efforts will primarily focus on End Users, Distribution Partners, Consulting Firms, and OEMs throughout the region.
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including inside sales, support, and management resources, to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations.
  • Continuously assess, clarify, and address customer needs.
  • Create strategic customer account plans that align with company standards.
  • Negotiate sales terms within established authority limits.
  • Engage with both new and existing clients to foster and expand business relationships.
  • Stay informed about current products, features, industry trends, and company standards.
  • Provide valuable market feedback.

You will report directly to the National Sales Manager.

Position Details:

Type of Position: Full-time
