About the Role

The Regional Vice-President is a key leadership position at IG Wealth Management, responsible for driving business growth and development in their assigned region. This role requires a strong leader who can inspire and motivate a team of advisors to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition and Development: Partner with the Talent Acquisition Team to attract and retain top talent in the region, and provide coaching and development opportunities to advisors to help them grow their practices.
  • Client Acquisition and Retention: Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain high net worth clients and business owners, and work closely with advisors to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Technology and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and innovation trends, and work with the IT team to implement solutions that will drive business growth and improve advisor productivity.
  • Region Leadership and Mentoring: Provide leadership and guidance to advisors in the region, and work closely with the management team to develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and improve advisor performance.
  • Performance and Personal Development Coaching: Provide coaching and development opportunities to advisors to help them improve their performance and achieve their goals.
  • Culture and Diversity: Foster a culture of diversity and inclusion in the region, and work closely with the HR team to develop and implement strategies to attract and retain a diverse workforce.
  • Finance and Operations: Manage the financial and operational aspects of the region, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Strategic Planning and Business Development: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and development in the region, and work closely with the business development team to identify new business opportunities.
Requirements
  • University Degree: A university degree in a relevant field, such as business or finance.
  • Management Experience: Previous management experience, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Financial Services Experience: 10+ years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Designations: CFP, PFP, or RRC designation, or commitment to earn designation. Branch Manager Certification preferred.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of advisors.
  • Strategic Planning and Business Development: Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and development.
