Key Responsibilities

The Director of Communications, reporting directly to the Vice-President of Policy and Communications, is responsible for the creation and execution of external communication initiatives, internal messaging, and digital communications aimed at enhancing the understanding of the policies, priorities, plans, and programs of FedNor.

You will oversee a team of professionals dedicated to crafting and implementing innovative and transformative communication strategies that align with the organization's core objectives.

Qualifications

EDUCATION: A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with a focus on communications or a related discipline.

  • The term "degree" refers to a baccalaureate as defined by educational authorities.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Extensive experience in leading the formulation and management of strategic and operational plans.
  • Proven experience in crafting communication strategies for both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Significant experience in providing strategic counsel to senior leadership on complex communication matters.
  • Experience in organizing and managing public announcements and events.
  • Substantial experience in overseeing human and financial resources.
